Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe, UTokyo

 

 

The Physics Major PhD program at the University of Tokyo welcomes students from around the world. For students thinking of starting a PhD study from 2023 autumn or 2023 spring, we have an informal open house online

on July 2 (Sat.), 4 pm – 6 pm (Japan Standard Time), using Zoom.

4 pm (Japan) = 3 pm (Beijing) = 0:30 pm (Delhi) = 9 am (CET) = 7 am (GMT/UTC)

 

 

The tentative schedule (Japan local time):

4 pm – 5 pm:        Overview (course description and admission process)

5 pm – 6 pm:        Consultation with individual faculty members/Laboratories

                 Ten or a little more faculty members/Laboratories will take your questions.

In case you cannot register through the page above, just send an email to the address listed below with a subject line such as "UT phys open house registration" and the following information: 

(*)  your email address (to which the Zoom login information is sent)

(**) your name, university, grade (e.g. undergrad 3rd year)

(*) mandatory, (**) optional

 

We will send out the Zoom URL on July 1 (Fri.) to the registered participants.

The overview will be recorded and be made available to the participants, since it will be held midnight for students from the Americas.
